history
today

In 1992 I started at as an extremely junior animator at Magic Touch, a small studio in Soho run by two great guys Aaron Witkin and Mike Hickin. The following year Daniel Slight joined as sales manager, the company’s name changed to Touch Animation and it started to grow. I became a senior animator and by 1995 I was a company director.

After many happy and productive years at Touch Animation, Daniel and I left to start a company of our own. In April 1997, in the corner of a room above M2 in Camden Skaramoosh was born. It was a very exciting time with Daniel bringing in the work and me doing the animation. We soon started to get regular work and were joined by another ex Touch animator Seb Read. A year later the company moved to Covent Garden and grew into the company it is today.

After years of working full time and following the birth of my daughter; I have decided to leave Skaramoosh and go freelance. I have 13 years broadcast production experience as a senior animator/designer working on documentaries, animated series, promos and title sequences.

Now based in North Yorkshire, I am able to take on independent animation jobs working mainly from home, although I can also do short term work on site.

I have my own XSI license and FTP site.
